Series II: Website 2010, 2010 - 2017

This is a collection of archived web content of Saint Anselm Abbey, a Benedictine monastery in Manchester, New Hampshire. The first webpages of the Abbey were published on the Saint Anselm College website on 2 December 1995. This collection does not contain the first website of the College or Abbey.

The webpages for Saint Anselm Abbey remained on Saint Anselm College's website from 1995 through 2017, changing URLs a few times. With the college’s website redesign in 2017, the Abbey began publishing content on www.saintanselmabbey.org. While the 2017 college website redesign was first captured by the Internet Archive on 26 May 2017 and includes a link to the Abbey's new website (https://www.saintanselmabbey.org), the new URL, however, was captured by the Internet Archive for the first time on 4 February 2018.

The links provided in this finding aid are to the archived pages on the Internet Archive and the Archive-It websites. The series are arranged according to significant changes made to the Abbey’s webpages’ uniform resource locator (URL). With some iterations of the college website, there are slight variations at times to these URLs. For a variety of reasons, webcaptures contain nonfunctional webpage components, missing images, and links that do not work.

The Internet Archive is the primary collector of these websites beginning with the first capture in 1996 (Series I) through the 2010 (Series II) and 2017 (Series III) website redesigns. The Internet Archive continues to capture the website.

In 2023, Msgr. Wilfrid H. Paradis Archives and Special Collections began selectively archiving pages of the Abbey's website using Archive-It, the Internet Archive’s web archiving service (Series IV).
